Where to find Kindly Dyer yarns

What a roller coaster 2020 has turned out to be. My focus continues to be the natural dye workshops hosted at Palliser Ridge Farm. There is more information about dates and bookings for these workshops here

Yarn festivals and pop-ups

On Saturday 12 September 2020 (10am to 2pm) I’ll be joining a group of creative Martinborough Makers for a pop-up at Thunderpants HQ, 42 Naples Street, Martinborough. I’ll have Palliser DK yarn cakes, skeins of vibrant 4-ply/fingering sock yarn and lovely soft merino 4-ply/fingering yarn that’s perfect for shawls and accessories.  Check out Martinborough Makers Facebook for info about other creatives who will be there.

Together with Palliser Ridge I’ll have yarns for sale at Capital Fibre Festival on Saturday 24th October 2020 (depending on Covid Alert level situation come October – lets hope that it will go ahead as planned, we all deserve a yarn reward for being vigilant!).

Kindly Dyer Online sales

There are some Kindly Dyer yarns for sale on my ETSY shop, right here

If you see a photograph of a colour you like on the yarn page and it’s not on Etsy send me a message, I might have some in stock and just not have it listed.

I will post on the Kindly Dyer instagram account when I’m heading to yarn markets  or updating ETSY listings. ETSY is easy to use, you can pay by PayPal or credit card, and the site allows you to ask me questions about listings. I really appreciate your feedback on purchases too.

I dye yarns in small quantities only, and as time permits. That is the best way I can keep my promise to be kind to the environment, by using plant materials in-season, using and disposing of water carefully.

Natural dye yarns are unique and variable. Even though the same recipe may be used, the colours resulting from each dye batch may be different. Within the same batch there will be variation in the yarn colouring; this is the nature of natural and hand-dyed yarns.

Shipping and Delivery
Yarns listed on ETSY are ready to ship and will usually be despatched within 48 hours of purchase. I will notify the buyer when yarn is shipped, and if there are any delays I will let you know.

Within NZ – Parcels will be sent by standard parcel post (untracked). Shipping starts at $4.50, plus 50c for each additional cake/skein.

International – In general I do not ship overseas because of the negative environmental impact of sending (non-essential) product via long distance air transport.

If you are from overseas and have a special request please let me know and we can look at options for sending.

If the yarn you receive does not meet your expectations please let me know within 14 days of receipt. (You can send a message using the Etsy system.) You may return the yarn within 30 days of receipt, in the same condition that you received it. Return postage is at the buyers cost.
